Full Stack Java Developer (m/f/d) - Homeoffice

Umbrella AG, headquartered in Wetzikon, Switzerland (near Zurich), has specialized in synchronizing customer profiles of business travelers between booking systems. Our core applications are the profile management platform Umbrella Faces and the mid-/backoffice system Umbrella.net. These products are being used by more than 300 clients in over 60 countries. Our main markets are EU, North America and Australia. Among our clients are Amadeus, Lufthansa City Center, CTM, Radius, Uniglobe, GlobalStar, Capita, ATG, Clarity, DERPart, Munckhof, Avoris and many more. Umbrella currently employs 16 travel technology experts.
Since 2018, Umbrella AG has been part of the MIDOCO Group, a German travel technology company with over 70 employees.

… are fluent in German and English
… are comfortable to work independently
... have knowledge in JavaScript (backbone, handlebars, jQuery)
… know how to solve problems quickly and effectively
… are open to learn how to develop basic features outside of Java (ie. Linux Bash Scripts, C#)
... are familiar with CSS (Bootstrap)
... know how to handle Java (Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Tomcat, Selenium, JUnit)
... know your way around relational databases (SQL, e.g. PostgreSQL or Sybase ASE15)
... have basic knowledge of Linux
